Matthew Kyte

Behaviour Support Practitioner
Hi, I’m Matt, and thank you for taking the time to read my bio! I am a Jeder NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner, and I am driven to support my clients in leading full, rich, and meaningful lives. I am passionate about the biopsychosocial model of health and hold memberships with several peak industry bodies, including Behaviour Support Practitioners Australia (BSPA), Certified Practising Counsellors of Australia, and AUSactive.
While I work with people across the lifespan, I have a keen interest in youth, juvenile, and forensic mental health disability. I can help support you, or someone you care for, with everyday challenges and behaviours of concern.
My professional background spans a diverse range of industries, including the corporate sector, NDIS School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES), Disability Employment Services (DES), fitness, and psychological services. I am also currently completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary) and have worked within the education system under a “permission to teach” arrangement, supporting disengaged teenagers with complex needs.
I draw upon a broad range of university qualifications—including psychology, sport and exercise science, counselling, sustainable living, theology, and applied behaviour analysis—to bring every element of the biopsychosocial model into my practice and enrich the wellbeing of my clients.
My Qualifications:
Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis
Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), First Class
Bachelor of Psychological Science (with Distinction)
Graduate Certificate in Positive Psychology (with Distinction)
Graduate Certificate in Counselling
Graduate Certificate in Science
Diploma of Sustainable Living
Lay Preacher Training, Australian Lutheran College
Certificate of Liberal Arts
I look forward to hearing from you.
